If he were a year or two

If he were a year or two older, he would've been a lot less likely to manhandle that poor feline. Very small children (ie. toddlers) should simply NOT be allowed to manhandle something as fragile as a kitten, lizard, bird, turtle, puppy, hell, ANYTHING that is small and vulnerable. My cousin bit part of a cat's ear off when she was two years old, that's how aware of 'being nice to the kitty' kids are at that age. A cat is just a living dolly to them, something to be 'played' with. >_< Smarten up, parents! Let the kid learn to pet the kitten gently, and when he can handle that without being rough as hell, maybe, MAYBE, then you can try letting him hold it. MAYBE.
